Teambath head coach Andy Tillson said he was impressed by the wayhis side is gelling after just their second pre-season friendly - agame that saw them go down 3-2 to a young Bristol City side yesterday afternoon.

Striker Nick McCootie bagged his first goal in TeamBath coloursjust before the interval to pull the University of Bath side back to2-1 after City had established a two-goal lead.

TeamBath then conceded a third on the stroke of half-time.

Sami El-Abd struck on the hour mark but TeamBath couldn't get backon level terms against a Bristol City team featuring England Under 17squad member Tristan Plummer, who bagged an outstanding goal.

"The result its neither here nor there," said Tillson.

"It was a good pre-season game, played at a high tempo, which willbe good for our fitness.

"I was pleased with our team spirit, togetherness and the waywe're gelling together," he added. "There were some excellentperformances."

TeamBath played a re-arranged pre-season friendly against CadburyHeath last night and then travel to Cornwall today for a pre-seasontraining camp that includes games at Falmouth tomorrow and Culdroseon Friday.

"Cornwall will help us build a bit more togetherness and it's achance for some of the newer lads to get to know the ones a bitbetter who have been here a little longer," he added.

"We'll also work them quite hard while we're there."
