FED:Libs reject Nauru legislation required

The coalition has rejected Labor frontbencher CRAIG EMERSON'S claims that legislation
will be required to resume offshore processing at Nauru.

Dr EMERSON says if the coalition was in government .. it wouldn't be able to count
on its own numbers to pass the legislation .. as promised during the election campaign.

He says Liberals JUDI MOYLAN and RUSSELL BROADBENT would cross the floor on the issue
.. and reject any push to reinstate temporary protection visas.

But Liberal frontbencher SOPHIE MIRABELLA has told Sky News that the Labor party didn't
change the legislation enabling offshore processing .. which means it's still in place.
